Last Silver Fish Match 2010

Hi All , a very quick report on the last silver match

For the 1 st time I had to put the heaters on the Van and clear the Heavy Frost of the front screen before Leaving so know it was going to be a cold one

Everyone was on time apart from One

which just woke up

Anyway due to the lack of numbers on the last match we all headed of to the smaller lake for a bash

It fished very slow and seemed that just the carp wanted a feed up as I Landed 3 on Light tackle with a whip and snapped on 4 so would of been very happy of it was a All round match as I think I could of easy bagged 100lb plus of fish as At one point I must of had 25 plus carp in my swim

The same was happening in Andys swim next to me but know he would of been the 1st to hit into the carp as he was fishing a method and way that would catch the bigger fish 1st

Great effort by Raymond all the way though the match and for Paul with a 12 0z Tench on the whip

I Also banked a nice 10 oz Roach which is always a bonus but know they are much bigger in the smaller lake as I was catching them up to 1 1/2 lb early part of the year
